Healthy eggs come from happy well loved hens who are allowed expansive grass pastures to roam in, scooping up all the natural goodness they need to produce a nutritional as well as a good tasting food product. Their yolks are a bright golden yellow filled with quality protein, available omega’s fats, and liver healing sulfur. Demand organic, pasture raised hens, fed with non GMO grains. You health is worth is the extra money. The few pennies more spent on a quality product, is a good investment, considering the exorbitant amount of money you will spend on doctor bills once you are ill.

Get Outdoors for Health (if only in your backyard)
Today, I came home after work and went straight outside to sit on the deck and enjoy the evening. The birds were singing choruses in deep throaty warbles. All of a sudden a hummingbird alights on a mere wisp of a branch about 3 feet away. The bird proceeds to sing in a barely perceivable, pulsating, high pitched, and almost screeching “sri, sri, sri, sri, sri”. The bird seems to be trying to calibrate his song to that of the other birds. Compared to the other lusty warbles, his seems faint indeed (I am assigning now gender to this bird as you will soon see why). I start chuckling as he appears to be a comic relief to the other birds singing. He turns his head and puffs out his breast and turns an icy stare my way. I laugh again. This dude is indeed a funny guy. He stops singing, doesn’t remove his gaze, and his breast feathers expand further. We watch each other for a few seconds, and I laugh again. As if in a huff, he proceeds to fly away. I found the interaction thoroughly entertaining, and realized how relaxed I had become. Really, I should do this more often, not just on weekends. Spend 1/2 hour a day outside in the fresh air, even on work days – it will add a healthy component to your life that perhaps you never imagined.
